The 50ft wide ELXIR 66-5HD-1930 is a 19 row fertilizer toolbar with 30" spacing, made for large farmers or rental fleets where performance matters. This anhydrous applicator features 6"x6" frame tubing 1/2" thick on the center section and 3/8" thick tubing on the wings. The planter-style drawbar and rear hitch are designed for the tractor and rear wagon forces to pull straight through independent of the frame to reduce frame fatigue. Two pairs of oscillating 385/65R22.5 transport tires distribute the machine weight evenly on crowned roads enhancing tire life and handles smoothly on longer trips from field to field. In the field the oscillating tires combine with the 4 other large single 385/65R22.5 tires to provide accurate depth control and superb turning radius. The frame is 100% grease-less with all drawbar and fold pins being made of large 2" diameter, hardened steel bushings with anti-rotating pins. This machine was designed for terraces, so the 87" up flex and the 80" down-flex enhance performance in tough terrain. The row units are Shield-Ag Split Mount row units. Front mounted 24" smooth coulters cut ahead of the edge bent shanks and sealers. The spring in a spring shank is designed with an 800 lb trip. Single-point depth control and a toolbox inside the tongue round out the toolbar. Farmada can equip this with any type of fertilizer knife, any type of NH3 system and an optional tongue mounted 200-gallon tank for nitrogen stabilizers is available.
