All machine functions are controlled and monitored from the tractor cab using a control unit. Väderstad offers several different options for controlling and monitoring the machine: E-Control or ISOBUS. All of these systems can control all of the machine’s functions, but how the systems are operated and connected varies. Gateway is the brain of the E-Control and ISOBUS systems. It communicates with the iPad and the VT (Virtual Terminal) and stores all machine settings and important data referring to machine functions, alarms, etc. Every seed drill has its own Gateway. E-Control consists of an iPad that can be combined with a special docking unit, called the E-Keeper. The communication between the iPad and the machine’s Gateway takes place wirelessly via a Wi-Fi connection. Gateway receives and processes all commands. EControl has a large touchscreen with coloured menus that make it easy to operate. The E-keeper features a number of buttons that are used to control and navigate the most important functions while driving in the field. The modern iPad-based control system Väderstad E-Control wirelessly connects to the Väderstad machine enabling full access to its functions and data. You benefit from user-friendly remote setup and calibration, as well as real-time monitoring and control. The highly modern E-Control interface takes farming to a new level in terms of intuitiveness and user-friendliness.With a touch of a button, you are able to adjust the working depth, alter the seed rate or monitor planting precision. The high-resolution iPad-display presents all the information clearly and the outstanding graphics makes every operation easier to use. Väderstad E-Control is a fully portable control system ready to be used when and where it is required.When calibrating the Väderstad seed drill or planter, you can take the portable iPad out of the tractor and control the calibration from outside. When your day is over you can take the iPad to the office and start planning the next days work.
