• The 8101 model features a cart that the back of the tedder rests on when folded up – this allows for quick and safe road transport. Airplane tires on the cart keep the machine balanced during tedding and transport.
• The 8101 model transport cart has a built in suspension and helps prevent wrapping in long crops.
• Automatic transportlocks keep wheels from swiveling during transport while allowing freedom in the field.
• Like all HT Series Tedders, the HT8101 features tubular tine arms. Tubular arms provide extra durability in the field. A shot-peened double tine slides over the arm for easy install.
Pequea’s largest rotary tedder, the HT8101, offers all the features needed in a commercial tedder, including carbo-austempered input gears, heavy-duty 1-1/8” hexagonal driveshafts, and a 16NM Radial Pin Clutch PTO. Built for durability, this tedder boasts a 35’ working width, saving you both time and money. Like all TurboTedders™, it features seven arms per rotor, with asymmetrical tines mounted on heavy pipe arms for durability. The heavy enclosed commercial gearboxes come with a 5-year warranty. Power is efficiently transferred to the rotors at the pivot points through carbo-austempered finger drives. With standard hydraulic fold and tilt, there’s no need to leave the tractor until the job is done.
