Honda CB 750 Sandcast K0 series
This 1969 Honda CB750 was initially sold through Austrian Honda importer Josef Faber, and it is said to have originally been kept in Austria before being acquired by its second owner in 1975 and transferred to Germany. It changed hands several times after, and it was later purchased by a collector in the Netherlands who sold it to the selling dealer in 2023.
Power is provided by a 736cc SOHC inline-four featuring a sandcast case, and the bike is finished in red with gold stripes. Features
include a five-speed transmission, 19 front and 18 rear wire-spoke wheels, a front disc brake, both kick and electric starters, a four-into-four exhaust system, chrome fenders, and a black vinyl two-up seat.
The fuel tank and side panels are finished in Candy Ruby Red, and the bike features a locking two-up seat upholstered in black vinyl with a passenger grab strap. Additional equipment includes Euro-specification turn signals, taillight, and license plate bracket as well as passenger foot pegs, a chain guard, and both side and center stands. Brightwork includes the fenders, handlebar, grab handle, and muffler
heat shields.
The 19 front and 18 rear wire-spoke wheels were mounted with Bridgestone Battlax tires in 2020. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with black rubber gaiters as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm, and braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum.
Instrumentation includes a Nippon Denso 240-kph speedometer, a matching tachometer, and a central bank of indicators. The five-digit odometer shows 33k kilometers (~20k miles.)
The 736cc inline-four features an early-production sandcast case, kick and electric starters, four Keihin carburetors, and a four-into-four exhaust system. It was factory rated at 67 horsepower.
The engine and carburetors have been overhauled and the pistons and battery replaced. Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a drive chain.
Now offered with the original Austrian Typenschein.
