Each hay feeder built by Farmco is made from heavy-duty 12 gauge steel with strategically placed reinforcements, all held together with high-quality welds to ensure years of use in real farming conditions. Every Farmco hay feeder is coated with a two-part polyurethane paint, applied electrostatically to guarantee smooth, even coverage. This unit comes with a set of hay saver racks. The 700 DRB cattle hay feeder comes standard with: *Slanted trough sides and an inverted V divider that helps keep feed scraps away from the sides, simplifying the cleaning process. *4 wheels with 15”x8” rims (with valve stem guards) to make transportation between feeding locations as easy as possible. *A 180-degree turning front dolly for maximum maneuverability. *An extendable tongue, which can be folded up and hooked out of the way during feeding. *A rear entry gate, which flips down to make bale loading and cleaning as easy as possible. *A tough, spring-loaded gate latch to keep cattle out of the feeder.
