OVERVIEW The UFO disc mower is a valuable addition to the VMZ AND VMZS range Mulchers. Significantly enhancing its versatility and performance in agricultural and land maintenance tasks. With a generous disc diameter of 600mm, this optional attachment extends the mower's capabilities, making it even more efficient and adaptable. One of the more common applications is to remove pasture and debris from the base of vine yard or orchard plants and in the spaces between them, ensuring that the integrity of the plants is preserved. The design features a low profile with a smooth surface, allowing it to access areas beneath fruit-laden branches and for mowing close to buildings or under fence lines. The UFO disc mower attachment is engineered with a sophisticated parallel guide system paired with a leveling base, enabling it to effectively adapt to uneven ground surfaces. The angle of the cutter disk can be adjusted to facilitate precise cutting along embankments and drainage channels. A comprehensive safety guard encases the perimeter of the attachment. The oscillating mechanism is activated by an adjustable coil-spring, allowing for customisable left and right movement settings—either rigid or softer—tailored to accommodate varying types of vegetation. This UFO disc Mulcher attachment includes a hydraulic motor rated at 30 liters per minute, complemented by three hydraulic hoses featuring ½” male quick couplings. Two of these hoses connect directly to the tractor's hydraulic remotes, while the third serves as a drainage line into the tractor’s hydraulic tank.
