The Land Pride RTR1274 Series Reverse-Till Rotary Tillers turn the soil to prepare a seedbed for gardening or lawn seeding. With uses in both rural and non-rural applications like landscaping and gardening, the RTR1274 Series offers an economical tilling solution. The RTR1274 reverse action ‘sucks’ the tiller into the ground and does not walk on top of hard ground like forward rotation tillers can. Land Pride reverse rotation tillers tend to achieve greater depth of penetration, moving and pulverizing more soil in the process, while burying residue as opposed to leaving it on top. Reverse tilling is not recommended for rocky soil. NOTE: Quick-Hitch may require a longer driveline, which is available through Land Pride Parts. *3 Year Limited Gearbox Warranty demonstrates our confidence in the cast iron gearbox's quality and lasting performance. *Land Pride’s proven chain and sprocket drive system are among the most reliable in the industry. To prove it we are offering: Year 1, the warranty covers parts and labor, Years 2 through 10 are parts only. *4 ‘C’ shaped heat-treated tines per flange. “C” Shaped tines require less hp to move through the ground. Four tines require less horsepower than 6 tine.
