The ultra-compact GTS represents the middle range excellence of professional lawn mowers offered by Gianni Ferrari, with a powerful engine that is completely hydraulic.

VERSATILITY
The front arrangement of the attachments, both for grass cutting and other works, greatly increases the comfort and operation benefits, enhancing at the same time the high versatility of the GTS, like the entire range of multifunction machines of Gianni Ferrari.
The offer of attachments for the GTS, developed and extended also with the innovative patent of the Smart System that allows to change the blades in the field in less than 15 minutes thanks to brand-new system with magnets, allow the economic investment to be amortized due to the considerable advantage of using the same machine throughout the year.
In fact, the replacement of the attachments is quick and very simple: it requires no tools and only a few seconds thanks to the hydraulic couplings and quick couplings of the hydraulic lift.
DIMENSIONS AND VOLUME
The combination of the front deck or any other attachment, also in front of the power unit as allows the GTS to maintain extremely small dimensions, optimizing the manoeuvrability.
In fact, the GTS offers the ideal combination of versatility and productivity: the proper width of the front attachments allows passage through tight spaces without affecting the hourly productivity.
CUTTING SYSTEM
The cutting decks, as well as any attachment in the range, are located in front of the power unit. In this way, the FRONTAL ACTION allows the user to have maximum visibility and perfect operational control and thus to easily reach spaces not suitable for posterior decks, guaranteeing perfect yield under the bushes and optimized finishing operations around trees, flowerbeds, walls and benches.
Apart from cutting with DIRECT collection, the GTS versatility also offers optimum mulching operations.
The blades of the collection deck are equipped with a blade system that transmits a strong aerodynamic thrust and conveys the grass directly inside the hopper through a wide and low loading channel. The direct grass collection system prevents clogging even in difficult conditions, like high and wet grass.
The two-arm hydraulic front linkage allows to easily lift all attachments and easily overcome kerbs and obstacles, thanks to an increased road bump angle of up to 40° and a ground clearance of the power unit of up to 19 cm, thanks to a higher rear wheel.
DRIVER’S SEAT
The GTS driver’s seat has been designed to offer maximum ergonomics and comfort during use.
The seat, with a high, wrap-around backrest, is adjustable in depth and sprung, for long fatigue-free periods of work. The new steering column, with a more refined and innovative design, is adjustable in depth and features vertical led headlights and ergonomic steering wheel, with soft handgrip and knob.
A single pedal controls the forward and reverse travel and the parking lever brake is on the user’s left-hand side.
The rest of the hydraulic controls are simple and intuitive with profiled handgrip levers that can be easily operated.
COLLECTOR
The collector, with an increased capacity of up to 480 litres, is made of a robust and shock-resistant polymeric material. One of the latest Gianni Ferrari patents has been filed precisely to increase and optimize the compact collection of grass. In fact, a hinged metal flap allows moving the flow of air during the collection in order to guarantee the total filling of the hopper, optimizing its discharge at the same time.
Thanks to the deflector, the dust is guided toward the rear part and the hopper of the GTS is filled in a compact manner, operating in different conditions.
The hopper is unloaded with the help of convenient comfortable hydraulic hammers and lift up to a height of 181 cm, to unload the grass directly on the tipper of a van or a trailer.
TRANSMISSION
The transmission is hydrostatic and the range offers 2 or 4 driving wheel versions.
On 4WD models, the transmission is automatically managed by the patented HTC™ (Hydrostatic Traction Control) device, which not only prevents the steering wheels from damaging the turf by eliminating slippage caused by the effect of steering drag, but also guarantees constant traction on the 4 wheels, improving the operator’s safety even on slopes and terrain.
The servo-assisted pressure divider can be automatically disabled and splits the torque on both wheels, resulting in a differential lock-like effect.
The PTO is fully hydraulic and the quick-action couplings, just below the driver’s platform and with flat surface for easy cleaning, make it easy to replace the various attachments available.
REDUCED MAINTENANCE
The GTS is a multi-function machine that has been specifically designed to also reduce maintenance and costs.
The direct loading of the grass is certainly a first significant advantage in terms of simplicity of the machine, with a reduction in the number of maintenance operations directly proportional to the lower number of organs subject to wear and replacement, for example: load turbine, impellers and blades.
On the other hand, the hydraulic PTO eliminates the routine maintenance typical of mechanical transmissions, such as tensioning and replacing the belts, greasing the cardan shaft, tensioners and bearings.
The oversized hydraulic components ensure the reliability of the system and maintain the temperature and pressure at low levels, for increased oil life.
MOTORS
The GTS range offers two petrol models and two diesel models.
The Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder petrol engines are equipped with an air filter with two filtering elements and a forced lubrication system with an oil filter.
The diesel alternative consists of a 22 HP 3-cylinder liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engine and a filtering system with a self-cleaning cyclone pre-filter, which allow maximum performance.
The oversized radiator has an anti-clogging flap and is raised so that it can remain clean for longer, even in demanding conditions.
On both engines, the proper and precise filtration systems guarantee the protection of the engines and extend their durability.
