Here is a good 46 HP DIESEL John Deere JD380 Rough Terrain RT Forklift. Also has Side Shift on this Industrial Offroad FORKLIFT. Engine runs great and on very good tread on the 14.9x24 tires. Shuttle Shift with 4,000 lb. Capacity. Our inspection notes: We had this parked on the shop floor cement and there were no leaks seen. Hoses and cylinders appear good or average and dry about what you’d expect. For shifting this 380 Forklift does not go or shuttle into reverse. We think it is transmission related but not sure. And it does not go into high gear well - we think that’s transmission or clutch related. Foot throttle cable is not working or got un hooked. We see the governor plate has some wear so it could last 20 hours or another 20 years you never know. We did check the cost of a newly rebuilt Roosa injector pump and with exchange that is $1,295 online as a worst case if the pump needs rebuilding down the road (JD380 part # AR49899). And a local shop may be able to rebuild it under $800-$900 just depending. On the plus side the engine sounds and runs great (See Video). This Diesel 46 HP off terrain / off road forklift does have good potential if you have time to work on it.
