The 2025 Great Plains Turbo-Chisel Model TCN5107 is an efficient tillage tool designed for residue management and soil preparation. It features a tillage width of 8' 9" and is powered by a minimum of 150 HP. The Turbo-Chisel incorporates Great Plains’ exclusive 22-inch Turbo Coulters on 7.5-inch spacing, which effectively cut and incorporate residue into the top 4-5 inches of soil, promoting soil aeration and preparing for spring planting.
The model allows for depth control up to 12 inches, facilitated by heavy-duty toggle-trip shanks offering 2,450 pounds of trip force. It is also equipped with maintenance-free bearings, adjustable coulter depth, and single-point depth control for convenience. Optional rear attachments, such as chopper wheels or a buster bar, enhance soil smoothing and clod management, ensuring a level finish.
