Stay-On Insulators are a cure-all solution for electric fence insulators. They work great on both wood and steel posts. these molded insulators work easily by sliding the wire through the slotted opening at the bottom (or top, depending on the tension direction of your fence). These insulators have nail holes top and bottom to be attached to wood posts, and with a piece of wire or aluminum tie (available here also) that wraps around the insulator. The insulator features an embossed notch on the back that allows for seating on the nocks of the t-post, which prevents movement. These are built to last and have weathered many ND winters on many a fence-line.
