This 17-row, 30" fertilizer toolbar from Farmada is made to handle high hp tractors and undulating terrain while maintaining precision placement of fertilizer. The depth control is achieved via a single-point hydraulic depth dial that controls the frame height and working depth of the toolbar to ensure all rows place fertilizer at the desired depth and rate. 2 each 385/65R22.5 single transport tires along with 2 x 295/75R22.5 rear wing tires gauge the application depth along with 4 front mounted 11L14 tires. Together they allow the primary wings to flex up 26" and down 26" inches with the outside wing having an additional 42" of up flex. The 22" stagger on the ladder style frame enables the row units to be staggered for improved residue flow for reduced plugging risk. Simultaneously, keeping the stagger short from front to back reduces gassing out when going over undulations head-on. This machine is set up with a continental cooler and has 3 section shut-off. The row units are from ShieldAg out of Hutchinson, KS which are proven row units that fit onto over 95% of competitive toolbars. Currently it is equipped with mole knives from ShieldAg. Farmada is located in Salina, Kansas. We were founded by former members of another major agricultural company from Salina, Kansas. This toolbar is the next generation of a prior series that takes all the previous experiences into account. The team designing this toolbar with Farmada had a combined experience of over 140 years in the agricultural equipment design, manufacturing, sales, service and marketing.segment.
